Giving at st mary’s
-
The best way to set up a regular payment to St Mary’s is through our page on the Parish Giving Scheme website.

As part of our worship services each week we give the opportunity to contribute a financial offering by placing cash or a cheque in the offering plate. We also have a contactless card machine available.
If you are a UK tax payer you can increase the amount of your gift by completing a Gift Aid Declaration form. This will allow us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you give at no cost to you.
-
If you would like to make a one off gift to St Mary’s, the best way to do that is through our page on the Parish Giving Scheme website.
-
From time to time we will be fundraising for particular projects at St Mary’s.
Any contributions will first and foremost go towards the specified project, but any excess will be allocated to our general unrestricted fund.
If you would like to donate towards any of these projects please make a payment through the relevant campaign page.
-
You may want to consider leaving a legacy to St Mary’s in your will. We would encourage you to give this towards the general fund so your gift can be most useful to the mission and ministry of St Mary’s. Please speak to a solicitor when making or changing your will.

An easy way to make money for St Mary’s is to sign up for EasyFundraising. When you shop online, businesses will donate part of what you spend to St Mary’s. It’s as simple as signing up and clicking the reminder each time you shop.
We believe everything we have is a gift from God and he entrusts us to steward our resources in a way that glorifies him. Giving can look like many things from giving our time and energy, our skills and talents, and also our money. By giving to St Mary’s Church this enables us to fulfil our vision to be sharing God’s heart with Bearwood in the heart of Bearwood through our many ministries and activities.
